what is the ASTM rating of the mat? i haven't found any information about it...

I have used the mat intensively for 2 seasons. From a functional point of view it was quite fine, I would give it 4 stars.
But a month out of warranty, so just after 2 years, it has gone completely flat = no longer usable. So for durability I give 1 star.
Nowadays it's really hard to find products that even last.

We are very sorry for your unpleasant experience.
The durability of the mattress is affected by its storage. We recommend storing the mattress with the valve open, ideally unfolded and at room temperature. We also recommend using a drybag to inflate the mattress, as the moist air from the lungs and the heat, over time, can erode the inner structure of the mattress.

I use it with the Zajo pumpsack.. After inflation, it is difficult to pull the bag off the valve. Any tricks?

For inflation, we recommend the Pum DryBag 25L. After it is inflated, you can release it from the valve by gently shaking it.
