ZAJO Arlberg Jkt
The Arlberg Jkt is a really warm and a high-quality piece of fleece, made of a real technical (stretch) material. I am 171 cm and 66 kgs, with 97 cm chest circumsize. I have bought the Arlberg in size of S and wearing it with a technical T-shirt it fits me like a comfortable top. However with just adding the Raven Pull the Arlberg Jkt already gives my torso a feeling of a stretchy embrace. Being a fast mover I really love it even this way, but if you are in a shape just like me but do not like the stretchy feeling like that, you had better chose the Arlberg Jkt in size M.
Its recycled material is fantastic, below zero with Raven Pull it gives you hell-warmth and delivers you a high-end quality: no stitch where it is not necessary (e.g. on shoulders those may suffer the "massage" of straps of your backpack). Zips with reflective elements are exact with those functional and well-designed zip-pullers.
The fine and soft standing collar of Arlberg Jkt embraces tenderly and well your neck, while keeping your body heat in and the outer cold out in windless times of winter weather. Wintertime the chin guard on the top of the main zip is a tiny clever thoughtfulness from the designer.
Though it will not be so comfortable you can sink even a 0,5 l PET bottle in side pockets of the Arlberg Jkt as well as they can receive your gloves, neck gaiter, headtorch and other small possessions. The chest pocket is quite spacious for stashing your smartphone and/or energy gels.
Cool idea is the thumb holes on the sleeves: during your hike in the cold, when a gloves may too hot, they can keep your knuckles cozy and warm without rubbing them, I really love it!
In my opinion the Arlberg Jkt in all respects sits on as the same shelf as similar products from Mammut, Salewa etc. do, but its price is much more affordable.
Bravo, ZAJO, I give 5 stars!
Thank you very much for designing and creating the Arlberg Jkt.
With kind tour/hike/climb companion regards,
Tom Berkes
