WHY IS PACKAGE INSURANCE NECESSARY AND WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS SERVICE?
The "Package Insurance" service is a voluntary optional service that allows you to be assured of the delivery of your goods. If your package is lost or damaged, we will send you new goods and handle any claims with the carriers on your behalf.
A claim with the carrier normally takes up to 30 days by law from the time we receive information from the customer. In the case of the use of package insurance, the claim for the customer is handled on a priority basis and within 10 days of receipt of information about this fact from the customer.
If the customer does not wish to have package insurance and does not select this additional service in the order, the claim with the carrier will be processed by default within 30 days. This service can be found in your shopping cart, where you will also be informed of its price. If you wish to add this service to your cart, simply click on the "Add to Cart" button.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE IN CASE OF LOSS OF A PRE-PAID SHIPMENT?
If your parcel is lost en route to you and your parcel was insured with the "Parcel Insurance" service, please inform us immediately of the situation by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We will process your complaint as soon as possible and send you new goods in an expedited procedure, no later than 10 days from the date of the report. We will then resolve the complaint with the carrier for you.
For uninsured shipments, the procedure is standard, in accordance with the applicable law. The time limit for processing such a claim is 30 days from the receipt of information about the loss of the shipment.
