In practice, this means that this treatment can eliminate this odour very effectively by preventing the accumulation and multiplication of bacteria in the fabric.
This means that Meran jackets don't need to be washed as often, extending their lifespan and saving money, energy and precious water resources - it's estimated that up to 2/3 of the environmental impact of a single item of clothing comes from washing and drying.
