Arlberg and Anniviers fleece jackets with a new look!
It's been more than two years since we fitted our Arlberg Jkt and Anniviers W Jkt fleece jackets with brand new, better material. In retrospect, this decision has proven to be an excellent move and the already popular fleece jackets have become even more popular.
We've taken a new twist from the renowned and perhaps legendary fleece manufacturer Polartec® by using Polartec® Power Stretch™, a sibling of Polartec® Power Stretch Pro™, used on our best fleece jackets, the Glacier Jkt and Cortina W Jkt.
The difference in these materials isn't significant, the Pro version is just enhanced with nylon which makes the material even more durable. Otherwise, however, Power Stretch™ doesn't particularly lag behind and thus offers parameters that can hardly be rivaled.
Up to 9 new colors
Two years after this significant change, our two models are more popular than ever. The high-quality, tried-and-tested material, which has already been proven by your experience, has long since proven to be an excellent choice. We have regularly received a lot of positive feedback, compliments, and photos from your hikes in the mountains. Many of you have approached us with the promise that you would happily buy another piece - if only the range of colors was wider.
Naturally, we realize that just as functionality is important to every single hiker in the mountains, so too is how they look while doing it for many. So we rolled up our sleeves, did some thorough research, and painted our fleece jackets with new colors.
The Arlberg Jkt men's fleece jacket is thus now available in five new designs, where those who prefer muted tones and those who like to be seen in the mountains will find theirs. The women's Anniviers W Jkt fleece jacket has been given four new designs, where there is no shortage of timeless colors or playful but still tasteful and clean colorways.
About Polartec® Power Stretch™
Polartec® Power Stretch™ was developed to create a material with excellent stretch properties and the ability to instantly return to its original shape, allowing clothing to hold its permanent shape even after several years of wear. In addition, these stretch properties, which the material has in all four directions, offer the wearer the maximum possible freedom of movement, and the fleece jacket adapts perfectly to the figure.
In addition to the stretch properties, Polartec® Power Stretch™ offers several other benefits typical of fleece materials - high levels of breathability, the ability to wick moisture away efficiently, and thermo-regulating properties.
Its unique properties are due to the principle of fusing fabric structures so that different materials can be used on both the top and bottom sides. The inner material is therefore woven in such a way that it can wick moisture to the surface of the outer material, which has quick-drying properties and evaporates moisture very efficiently. The inner material is brushed on the inside, which further enhances its warming ability and is very comfortable in contact with the skin.
As fleece jackets in general are very often used as a mid-layer under a waterproof jacket, the outer material is very soft and smooth to make putting extra layers over this jacket as easy as possible. This smooth outer surface is also very pleasant to the touch.
All the fibers of the Polartec® Power Stretch® material are made from 100% recycled materials, so the background of the manufacturing of the product contributes to a healthier planet and a healthier environment through the efficient use of resources.
The eco-friendly processing and production of each Polartec® material are confirmed and guaranteed by the Bluesign and Global Recycled Standard certifications.
